This tour is more than just a trip; it’s an experience of immersion in nature. From the untouched trails of the Juta Valley to climbs leading to the historic Holy Trinity Church in Gergeti and the cobblestone streets of the City of Love, Sighnaghi, you’ll discover a new story at every step. Prepare for a safe and unforgettable trek through the most beautiful landscapes of the Caucasus, accompanied by Marsis Tourism’s own comfortable vehicles and expert guides who know the region inside and out.

Day 1: Border Crossing and Arrival in Kakheti via Tbilisi: Entry into Georgia via the border gate and a pleasant journey with Marsis vehicles. Passing through Tbilisi to Kakheti, the country’s most famous wine region. After our first warm-up walk surrounded by nature, arrival in Sighnaghi, the “City of Love,” and hotel check-in.

Day 2: Walking Through Vineyards and Transition to the Military Highway: Following breakfast, a scenic trek through the unique nature of the Kakheti valley and historic vineyards. A relaxation break and tasting at local wine cellars. In the afternoon, following the historic Georgian Military Highway, departure for the majestic Kazbegi (Stepantsminda) region with views of the Ananuri Fortress, followed by accommodation.

Day 3: The Temple Above the Clouds (Gergeti Hike): Awakening to the magnificent views of the Caucasus Mountains. Starting from the center of Kazbegi, a pleasant nature hike of approximately 2–3 hours toward the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church at an altitude of 2200 meters. After taking stunning photos at the summit, an optional short exploratory hike toward the Gveleti Waterfall for those interested.

Day 4: Juta Valley, the Hidden Paradise of the Caucasus: After breakfast, travel via the Sno Valley to the village of Juta, a favorite among mountaineers and hikers. An unforgettable day-long trekking experience beneath the imposing rock walls of the Chaukhi Mountains, accompanied by lush green meadows and rivers. Return to Tbilisi in the evening and accommodation.

Day 5: Historical Footsteps in the Streets of Tbilisi and Return: A light-paced cultural walk through the historic streets of Tbilisi (Old City, Abanotubani Sulfur Baths, foothills of Narikala Fortress). Following free time at the Dry Bridge market, transfer to the border gate or airport for the return journey.
