While you relax your soul in the peaceful, snow-covered parks of Borjomi, known for its world-famous healing mineral waters, you’ll experience the thrill of winter sports at its peak on the crystal-clear snows of Bakuriani, Georgia’s most popular ski resort.

On this special route, a nostalgic journey on the historic Kukushka Train (Snow Train), gliding through the pine trees, will be one of the most unforgettable moments to capture in your photographs. With Marsis Tourism’s own fleet of luxury vehicles and experienced drivers in winter conditions, be ready to experience both tranquility and adrenaline safely in this snow-covered paradise of the Caucasus.

Day 1: Border Crossing and Borjomi, the Land of Healing Waters: Entry into Georgia through the border gate. Following the Black Sea coast inland to the pine-forested Borjomi valley. A nature walk under the snow in Borjomi Central Park, the source of the famous Borjomi mineral waters, followed by a mulled wine break. Hotel check-in.

Day 2: Historic Snow Train (Kukushka) and Ascent to Bakuriani: After breakfast, a nostalgic journey to Bakuriani via the historic Kukushka Snow Train, gliding through forests and snowy hills (transfer provided by Marsis vehicles if the train is not operational). Arrival in Bakuriani, hotel check-in, and free time.

Day 3: Enjoying the White Peaks in Bakuriani: Full day of free time. Guests may ski or snowboard on the Didveli or Kokhta slopes, or enjoy the breathtaking views of the Caucasus Mountains via snowmobile, sledding, or by taking the cable car to the summit.

Day 4: Akhaltsikhe (Rabati) Castle and the Return Journey: Farewell to Bakuriani after breakfast at the hotel. On the return route, a visit to the magnificent, recently restored Akhaltsikhe (Rabati) Castle, which bears the traces of diverse cultures. Proceed to the border gate and the end of the tour.

  • Weather Conditions: The guide reserves the right to modify the sequence of the program due to weather, road conditions, or force majeure, provided that all scheduled locations are still visited.
  • Accommodation: In triple rooms, the third bed is typically provided as a fold-out or rollaway extra bed.
  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made up to 30 days before the departure date usually qualify for a full refund; however, specific deductions may apply for cancellations made within the final week.
